Packer/Material Specialist

 Job Summary

Chelsea Building Products, an industry leader in extrusion manufacturing, compound function, and building product development has immediate full-time opportunities available for entry level Packer/Material Specialist positions.

We are searching for Packers who are dependable individuals, quick-learners, flexible, and possess the willingness to work collaboratively with members of their work team.

Responsibilities include visually inspecting products and measuring product length to make sure the appropriate materials are being used. These individuals also ensure that all proper documentation is completed before finalizing the packing process in preparation for shipment.

The Packer/Materials Specialist position offers future promotional opportunities if performance warrants.

This is a direct hire . Medical, dental, life insurance, and 401k with match effective after 90 days of employment. Outstanding work environment based on teamwork and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Reliable transportation;
  • Ability to understand and follow-through with directions;
  • Capacity to accurately measure and read measurements;
  • Ability to perform basic math;
  • Good written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including working weekends on a bi-weekly basis;
  • Prior manufacturing or packing experience helpful.

 

 

Experienced Machinist / Die Maker

Job Summary

 Efficient operation of vertical mills

  • Tuning tapers, threads, and lathe work
  • Responsible for individual set-ups for jobs through to completion
  • Variable cutting speeds and feeds
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic machining tools required

Die Maker qualifications should also include :

  • Mold making experience
  • Surface finishing along with good benching skills
  • Ability to take tool from concept to production commencement

Entry-level Machinist

Job Summary

  • 1-2 years machining/tool & die making experience
  • Good conventional machining skills
  • Some formal apprenticeship training
  • Surface grinding experience
  • Wire EDM/CNC operation and programming experience a plus

Qualified candidate must also possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Set-Up Specialist

 

Chelsea Building Products, an industry leader in extrusion manufacturing, compound function, and building product development has immediate full-time opportunities available for entry level Set-Up Specialist.

We are searching for individuals who are dependable, quick-learners, flexible, and possess the willingness to work collaboratively with members of their work team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Set up plastic extrusion line with a team of specialist
  • Place die molds and other equipment in place utilizing a small crane
  • Change out puller machine cleats

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail orientation
  • Works we within a team
  • General mechanical aptitude required
