Chelsea has been designing and extruding high-quality PVC lineal profiles for over 30 years. With Tessenderlo Group’s purchase of Chelsea Building Products in 1997, Chelsea acquired significant technical expertise in European PVC Engineering, Manufacturing and Compounding. Utilizing Tessenderlo Group’s Research facility in Belgium, and acquiring the latest European technology from Tessenderlo's manufacturing facilities across eastern and western Europe, Chelsea is able to design and extrude custom extruded vinyl profiles for various building and construction markets.

Chelsea’s design team and extrusion engineers have worked with a number of large companies to successfully design and develop custom shapes for their markets. Our tooling engineers and tooling development center have converted these designs into custom extruded vinyl profiles that can be economically extruded to tight specifications and tolerances. In addition to its 30 plus years of designing and extruding PVC lineal profiles, Chelsea has partnered with Greiner, the leading extrusion tooling company in Europe, and now commands extrusion die and downstream sizing equipment technology that is tops in the industry. Chelsea has adapted this technology to modern twin screw and dual strand extrusion lines to produce one of the highest quality lineal profiles in the world.
